Gaming is the bright shining star at Sony Corp.

Sony points out that the increase in its sales is primarily due to games and not new hardware sales.

When it comes to this year's Q1 Reports released this week from the big 3 gaming companies, Sony comes out up top as the 'Gaming Star' souring high into the Sky, with Microsoft just barely staying afloat on the ocean looking at the clouds it can't reach, and finally of course Nintendo falling rapidly into the nosedive like a missile hitting a carter.

World’s most advanced “N64 emulator for Windows 10” is now available on Xbox One. You need to download it to Windows 10 via the store and it should show on your Xbox One.

With no official word from the developers of the N64 Emulator, their app has suddenly become available on the Xbox One, thanks in part to how Microsoft handles the new UWP system that was added to Xbox One, if the option is there they will publish it in Xbox Store also, even if developer originally only designed it for Windows 10 UWP system. -- Read on below for how/why/this occurs!

"It’s the only market I’ve even been in where we had negative market share."

Ever since the launch of the original Xbox, Microsoft has struggled to gain a foothold in Japan, and according to former Chief Xbox Officer Robbie Bach, there wasn't much the company could have done differently to make a bigger splash in that market.

If Microsoft ever built a Time-Machine, they would go back to the launch of the original Xbox console, and do less, just enough for Japan, as the former Xbox Boss says it was waste of resources to focus so much in Japan marketplace with the Xbox consoles.

NPD Group reports that video game spending fell 22% in June, but there's no need to panic.!

Industry tracker NPD Group recently released its video game sales figures for June, and they weren't pretty. Total consumer spending across the U.S. on video game products fell 22% annually to $652.2 million. Let's see which companies held up the best and which fared the worst during that decline.

As usual the PlayStation 4 was the NPD Winner for the Month of June 2016 in overall sales, yet again beating the Xbox One, but next month it will be tough battleground, with the much lower priced older Xbox One on sale to clear inventory in July, and the newer Xbox One S launching in August, and Sony not having anything new to come out to push out more sales that are showing signs of slowing down, its going to be fun to watch what occurs over the next two months, in the meantime this is how June'16 breaks down...

Farming Simulator 17 will be available on October 25 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

Oh my goodness, this trailer is so cheerful and so nerdy on all of the farm equipment. I LOVE IT! These settings feel like some feel-good dystopian setting, and for this, I give it major props.

Sometimes I wish I was back in time, relaxing living on a farm, doing hardwork, without any technology around me to keep me so fucking crazy and busy at times, I thought computers were invented to make our life better, and give us more free time, well at least we can now use them or our console to virtually dream about another kind of life we could have had, but can't anymore now! :)

The pint-sized, Retro Console Wars are here!

A couple weeks back Nintendo announced that they’d be putting the 31 year-old NES back into production - as a miniaturized console with 30 pre-loaded games, well now Sega has decided to get into new era of pint-size classic retro gaming consoles!

The officially licensed mini-Mega Drive will sport 80 stored games and let you plug in your original cartridges, but its license partner is AtGames which is famous for their previous Atari Flashback series ones which are up to #5, and some are very crappy, and the Sega one will not offer any HDMI upgrade like the NES does, but at least it has a 'cartridge' slot so that might have more usefulness to the retro gamer at heart, depending on the internal hardware and the emulator design they chosen to use in this mini-Sega-Mega-Drive.

Nintendo NX is a portable console with detachable controllers!

It also connects to your TV, and runs cartridges. Nintendo's upcoming NX will be a portable, handheld console with detachable controllers, a number of sources have confirmed to Eurogamer.

Oh'Dear... When I read this earlier, I thought it was April's Fools Day in late July, but its been now confirmed by a number of legit long-time Nintendo insiders and developers, that this is the real deal, what we are looking at is the Nintendo NX, a super-duper high-powered tablet with TEGRA inside, large big screen, and two detachable controllers, a cartridge slot for non-digital games, and some sort of 'docking station' for charging and connecting to your large living room TV screen when you wish to go non-portable!

BTW, the above picture is a 'drawing someone made', the actual final system will not look totally like that, but its a...
